- This repository contains the rfhutil program, originally released in SupportPac IH03. Both source code and binaries are included. This program can be useful for the development and testing of IBM MQ and IBM Integration Bus aka WebSphere Message Broker aka App Connect Enterprise applications.
- The RFHUtil version 3.5.0 utility program will read data from files and/or queues; write data to files and/or queues and display data in a variety of formats. However, it is not an editor. While the user data portion of the message can be displayed in a variety of formats, it cannot be changed.

How do I start / launch RFHUtil BatMan?
After you download the executable jar file, simply double click it.

What is each field used for?
Queue Manager Logical Name: This will ultimately be the name of te BAT file. I suggest you use a logical name for the queue manager that you want to connect to. (IE: TestEnvBox1) Many users will need multiple BAT files to connect to many different envs (IE. Dev, Test, Acceptance, etc) Using logical names will help you sort you files correclty.
Queue Manager Host: Supply the fully qualified host name where the queue manager is located.
Queue Manager Port: Supply the port number the queue manager uses.
Location of MQ bin directory: Use this fieldto tell BatMan where to find the WebSphere MQ bin directory. BatMan will ensure you RFHUtil sessions can find these important MQ libraries. The bin is located with the WebSphere MQ installation. A windows example is – “C:Program FilesIBMWebSphere MQbin”. However, if you don’t have WebSphere MQ installed, you can simply download the MQ client libraries. Then tell RFHUtil where to find them. See the download section in the RFHUtil BatMan post for more info.

Location of RFHUtilc.exe file: Tell BatMan where to find the RFHUtilc.exe file. This is part of the IH03 download available from IBM. More info about download is available on the RFHUtil BatMan post.
Create BatFile in this directory: Where do you want to store the BAT File the BatMan will create? You can pick any directory, including he windows desktop directory for you user ID. If you use the desktop, the BAT files will be accessable from the desktop for a quick launch.
